Su sertli\u011fi bir donma olay\u0131 de\u011fildir. \u0130\u00e7eri\u011finde belli ba\u015fl\u0131 kimyasallar\u0131n de\u011fi\u015fimi olsa da buzlanmadan ayr\u0131 bir yap\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Di\u011fer yandan sert suyun \u00f6zellikleri de al\u0131\u015f\u0131lagelmi\u015f su yap\u0131s\u0131ndan farkl\u0131d\u0131r. Suyun do\u011fal yap\u0131s\u0131 ile sert yap\u0131s\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki en b\u00fcy\u00fck fark i\u00e7erisindeki magnezyum ve kalsiyum de\u011ferleridir. Do\u011fal sular\u0131n yap\u0131s\u0131nda magnezyum ve kalsiyum bulunmaz bu nedenle de yumu\u015fak bir yap\u0131ya sahiptirler. Do\u011fadan gelen, herhangi bir i\u015flem g\u00f6rmemi\u015f suyun i\u00e7erisine d\u00e2hil olan bu mineraller suyun yumu\u015fak yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 bozarlar. Yap\u0131s\u0131 sertle\u015fen suyun b\u00f6ylelikle iyon dengesinde de bir de\u011fi\u015fme olur.
