Steam Boilers – Chemical Conditioning
Do you know that steam boilers need to be regularly cleaned? Under normal conditions, water vapor is defined as the gaseous state of water. Steam boilers are machines designed specifically for steam production, but they can also be defined as machines that operate with water contact.
Taking precautions and minimizing risks wherever water is involved is crucial.
We recommend taking necessary measures to ensure the efficient operation of your steam boilers and steam systems.
Over time, these systems can be exposed to issues such as scaling, corrosion, and fouling due to the water used. Preventing these problems relies on working with good quality water and performing regular maintenance. Chemical conditioning in steam boilers is a technique used to improve water quality. This process involves adding chemical substances to control the pH level, mineral content, microbial count, and other factors in the boiler water.
An improperly maintained steam boiler can lead to the following problems:
Excessive energy consumption Low efficiency Deformation of surfaces Reduced lifespan of the boiler and system components.
Chemya has developed a specialized chemical product based on amines to address these issues.
Our goal is to provide 100% solutions to the problems that steam boilers may encounter.
The process will be carried out by our expert team, aiming for uninterrupted and efficient operation of your systems.
We would also like to introduce you to our special formulation, Cetaplex, which is an amine-based chemical used in this process.
Amine-Based Chemical: Cetaplex®
The boiler feedwater in steam generation devices contains a special chemical, a scale inhibitor (VdTÜVKG-no. 06-KG-48), which is inspected by VdTÜV (Association for Technical Inspection in Berlin).
It prevents scale formation in the steam boiler and feedwater section, either through the use of phosphate or hardness reducer.
It alkalizes the steam, feedwater, and boiler water, ensuring the necessary protective alkalinity.
It is also used in steam networks operating with desalinated water.
This ensures the optimal performance of steam boilers.
Method of Application
The application can only be carried out by professional teams equipped with technical expertise. Don’t forget to contact us for detailed information and application requests.
You can also take advantage of our laboratory and technical consultancy services to assess the current situation.
